According to weather forecasters, Saturday brought us the beginning of a three-day warm-up. Temperatures in downtown Tunkhannock flirted briefly with 40 but trended downward by mid-afternoon with stiff breezes and some light rain showers. A thin layer of ice still covered Tunkhannock Creek between Business Route 6 and the Route 6 bypass. Sunday and Monday should both be warmer with highs near 50 and 60, respectively. Some more rain is in the forecast as well. For a uniquely Endless Mountains perspective on the weather, visit http://waynesweatherworld.net/.
