Little Change Expected after Heavy Rains

Heavy gray clouds hanging over Sheshequin Township in Bradford County Thursday morning kept temperatures in the 30s, but the sun finally won out by afternoon, casting a pleasant autumn glow over Asylum and Standing Stone townships downriver.

If anything, the calendar is catching up with the cool temperatures that set in the second week of October. By the end of this long term forecast, daily highs will be very close to their statistical averages for early November, mostly due to a lack of sunshine.

The good news – a coastal storm that might have bogged down over us through Tuesday now seems poised to move through us rather quickly with drenching rains from this evening through Saturday night.

The long-term forecast follows:

Friday: 49/37 partly cloudy

Saturday: 40/35 rain

Sunday: 48/40 am showers

Monday: 48/34 am showers

Tuesday: 50/40 sunny

Wednesday: 57/45 showers

Thursday: 55/48 rain

Friday: 50/40 showers

Saturday: 52/33 cloudy

Sunday: 52/40 showers

Monday: 50/40 showers

Tuesday: 50/40 showers

Wednesday: 50/40 showers

Thursday: 45/40 showers
