Wyalusing Lad Wins BCRAC Holidays Card Contest – Cards Available For Purchase

The Bradford County Regional Arts Council (BCRAC) recently sponsored its 2nd annual Holiday Card Contest for Pre-K students aged 3 to 5 in classrooms and day care centers throughout the county. The children were invited to submit holiday-themed artwork for the contest and were judged on creativity, composition and general appeal.

Ethan Dietz, a student at the Wyalusing Children’s Center was awarded first place and a free trip to the movies for his whole class. His wonderful artwork (top, left) has been been used to create the 2014 Holiday Notecards, which can be purchased as sets of eight cards at $6 per pack.

Second place winner, Mina Fowler, and third place winner, Mackenzie Brown are both students at St. Agnes School in Towanda. Their winning artwork (top, center and right) and other contest entries are now on display at the Keystone Theatre in Towanda throughout the month of December. Holiday Notecards can be purchased at all three BCRAC Theatres or by calling the BCRAC at 570-268-2787. Notecards will be available throughout the month of December, and all proceeds will benefit BCRAC Summer Youth Programming.
