‘Wild West Wine Fest’ To Take Place June 10

Grab your boots n’ saddle and head to Wyoming County for a day of rootin’ tootin’ fun at the Wild West Wine Fest — a Wild West-themed outdoor wine festival taking place on Saturday, June 10, from High Noon to 5 pm at the Wyoming County Fairgrounds in Meshoppen. Festival proceeds will go toward purchasing Jolly Blue, an interactive “Incredible Milking Cow” that will help to promote agricultural education at the Wyoming County Community Fair and Ag Day.

Wine Tasting

Throughout the afternoon you’ll enjoy tasting the products of such popular Pennsylvania wineries as Antler Ridge Winery; Capra Collina Winery; Grovedale Winery & Vineyards; Hidden Creek Vineyard & Winery; Lucchi Family Wine Cellars; Nimble Hill Winery & Brewery; Sand Castle Winery; Staggering Unicorn Winery; and Winterland Winery. All wines featured are available for purchase as well.

Delicious Foods

There’s no need to go hungry during the Wild West Wine Fest! In addition to food stands presented by Catering the Wright Way, FonDippity, Greenley’s Bar BQ, and the Meshoppen Volunteer Fire Dept., you’ll find a wide variety of snacks & treats at such specialty foods booths as Annie’s Country Kitchen, igourmet.com, Pittston Popcorn Co., and Tastefully Simple.

Live Entertainment & Special Activities

Nashville recording artist John Riggins (above) will be performing live throughout the day, and the Rebel Sole Line Dancers will also be joining us, so be sure to get your boots out! Special activities will include a Costume Contest, Lawn Games, and a Mounted Shooting Demonstration.

Tickets

Save money by purchasing your General Admission tickets (21+/wine tasting) in advance. Between now and Friday, June 9, General Admission tickets can be purchased for just $20 each. At the gate on the day of the event, they will be $30 each. Designated Driver tickets (21+/non-wine tasting) are $5 each whether purchased in advance or at the gate.
