After a cloudy, muggy day that was punctuated by rain showers and some isolated heavy thunderstorms, temperatures made a run for 90 degrees again today in river towns like Wysox in Bradford County.

It won’t feel like much of a break to some people, but tomorrow night’s low of 50 degrees after nearly a week of temperatures at 90 or above will provide at least a night or two of pleasant sleeping weather. Typical summer heat returns next week, but without as many thunderstorms
