Thanksgiving to Usher in Potpourri of Conditions

Tuesday afternoon’s weather provided a great opportunity for taking to the air, as Patrick Sekely of Meshoppen demonstrated with this great shot of a train rolling along the Susquehanna River about 10 miles south of Tunkhannock.

A mixed bag of weather over the next week will further demonstrate Old Man Winter’s plans to unseat Mother Nature for the next three or so months.

Thanksgiving Day will be mild with morning showers, and next week’s precipitation will be a combination of rain and snow.

The long-term forecast follows:

Wednesday: 44/44 scattered showers

Thanksgiving: 58/36 am showers

Friday: 50/36 cloudy

Saturday: 45/29 partly sunny

Sunday: 48/34 partly sunny

Monday: 50/40 rain

Tuesday: 45/30 rain to mix

Wednesday: 40/30 am snow showers

Thursday: 40/28 mix
