After temperatures have averaged about five degrees below average over the past few days, windows will likely be reopened or air conditioners pushed back into service this week as some warm and humid air makes it back into the region.
Next weekend should be quite seasonable with daytime highs in the 70s and evening lows in the 50s. Thunderstorms are possible from Wednesday to Saturday.
