Public officials and representatives of the Susquehanna Greenway Partnership and Endless Mountains Heritage Region will gather at George R. Hock Memorial Park in Falls on Wednesday, Nov. 15 to officially designate the village as a PA River Town.

Another dreary day is upon us as winter begins its push into the Endless Mountains. Residents in the highest elevations could see some snow flurries today and even a brief dusting of snow, though the coldest temperatures of the season won’t reach us until Saturday morning.

In fact, most people will see temperatures below freezing from Thursday evening through Saturday afternoon, bringing an end to late blooming flowers and less hardy garden vegetables

The eight-day forecast follows:

Tuesday night’s expected low: 25 (partly cloudy)

Wednesday 48/25 (mostly sunny)

Thursday – 45/25 (partly cloudy)

Friday29/15 (snow shower)

Saturday36/27 (sunny)

Sunday45/32 (cloudy)

Monday – 45/32 (partly cloudy)

Tuesday45/32 (partly cloudy)

Wednesday 50/35 (showers)

The EndlessMtnLifestyles.com weather report is based on expected conditions at approximately 1,100 ft elevation in Meshoppen Township, Wyoming County, near the center of the Endless Mountains region. Residents of river towns can generally expect slightly higher temperatures, while those at higher elevations may experience lower temperatures.
