The cool weather that has dominated the first half of May appears to be on the wane as more seasonable temperatures are poised to make a return in the coming week, leading up to Memorial Day Weekend.

After a few showers this evening, however, there is little chance of any additional rain through the coming holiday. Dry conditions and breezy days could bring back burn bans and Red Flag warnings.

The long-term forecast follows:

Saturday: 70/47 PM showers

Sunday: 75/48 mostly sunny

Monday: 75/49 mostly sunny

Tuesday: 77/50 partly cloudy

Wednesday: 80/48 mostly sunny

Thursday: 71/44 partly cloudy

Friday: 75/47 partly sunny

Saturday: 76/47 partly cloudy

Sunday: 77/53 partly cloudy

Memorial Day: 80/55 partly cloudy
