The Bradford County Conservation District will host a pond ecology workshop at the Stoll Natural Resource Center in Wysox on Tuesday, Oct. 3 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Brian Swistock from Penn State Extension will talk about the life in ponds and how it interacts with the environment that exists there. Topics covered will include water quality, aquatic plants and algae, fisheries management, and pond wildlife.
There is a $20 fee requirement for this workshop that includes membership for 2017 to the Bradford County Lake/Pond Management Organization. (There will be a $5 fee for current members.)
