Rep. Tina Pickett announced this morning that $1.6 million in state funding for important community and economic development projects throughout the 110th Legislative District have been approved. The Local Share Account grants are derived from gaming revenues.

The grants for which Pickett advocated for on behalf of South Waverly Borough and Tuscarora Township in Bradford County total more than $1 million. This is money well spent on vital upgrades to the transportation infrastructure here in the Northern Tier.
“Projects like these impact all of us because they improve public safety and are critical to our region’s economic growth,” Pickett stated. “I appreciate the opportunity to partner with Sen. Yaw to fulfill these needs in our local communities.”
