Penn State Extension Appoints New Educator

Penn State Extension of Wyoming County appointed a new Business and Community Vitality Extension Educator in May of this year. Linda Falcone (above) will be chairing the 30th Annual Susquehanna County Ag Day event slated for Friday, March 1, 2019. Ag Day will be held at Elk Lake School District. There will be nocost workshops, exhibits, health screenings, dairy products to sample and more.

Linda Falcone joins Penn State Extension with years of experience in higher education. She has done recruiting, event planning, community outreach and teaching. Her community outreach experience includes fund-raising, project management, grant writing, volunteer management, strategic planning, and workforce development.

Her teaching experience includes business, entrepreneurship, marketing, economics and microcomputers at the college level. She has also taught workshops on customer service, workplace ethics, personal finance, workplace bullying, visioning, team building and youth work-readiness skills. Linda holds a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in Architectural Studies and Business and a Master’s in Business Administration from Kutztown University.
