There will be no place like Old Mill Village on June 29 as a fundraising event will take place in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the release date of the classic movie, the Wizard of Oz.

Gather family and friends and follow the yellow brick road to the Old Mill Village Museum grounds in New Milford where activities and fun will take place between noon and 5 pm.

Magic movie moments from this beloved film will be the theme of kid-friendly activities, including a scarecrow making contest, a treasure hunt, and other movie-related games throughout the afternoon.

Of course, the highly-praised and much-loved film of all time will be running throughout the event for anyone who wishes to watch – whether seeing it for the hundredth time or the first time.

Admission is $5 for ages 12 and above, and $2 for ages 5 to 11. The village is located one mile south of New Milford on State Route 848. For more information, call 570-434-2303.
