The Nicholson Heritage Association will host a public meeting on Thursday, Jan. 23, at 6:30 pm in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Hall at the intersection of Main and High Streets in Nicholson. Parking is available on High Street, across from the main entrance of the church.
The rehabilitation of the historic Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad Station in Nicholson will be the focus of the conversation, and results of a feasibility study funded in part by a PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources grant through the Endless Mountains Heritage Region, will be unveiled and discussed. Light refreshments will be provided.
The next regular meeting of the Nicholson Heritage Association will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 7 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 65 State Street, Nicholson.
