Master Gardner to Speak on Jumping Earthworms

Penn State Extension Master Gardener Carol McNamara will lead a program on Jumping Earthworms where you will learn about this aggressive invasive species that is negatively affecting our gardens and ecosystems. This invasive species has been reported locally. Join Carol on Wednesday, September 8 at 6:00 pm in the Honeyman Room at the Montrose Bible Conference, Locust Street, Montrose. Attendees will learn to how to recognize this worm and help limit it’s spread. Carol will also teach about the Asian Jumping Worm’s history, life cycle, prevention practices and possible control methods. Fee is $5.00
