Just when it finally started to feel like spring again this past week, summer-like weather will take hold over the next few days and linger at least into the following weekend.

There is a slight chance of frost in normally colder areas this evening before temperatures rebound. Most notable is a lack of rain just as the growing season begins, also making outdoor burning challenging and potentially dangerous.

The long-term forecast follows:

Thursday: 65/38 sunny and breezy

Friday: 70/40 sunny

Saturday: 75/45 mostly sunny

Sunday: 80/50 partly cloudy

Memorial Day: 85/55 mostly sunny

Tuesday: 82/55 partly cloudy

Wednesday: 85/58 mostly cloudy

Thursday: 87/60 partly cloudy

Friday: 87/60 PM showers
