Henry Seeking Re-Election in Wyoming County

Submitted Article

As a lifetime resident of Wyoming County Tom Henry is announcing his bid for Re-election as Wyoming County Commissioner. I am married to my wife, Ann for 21 years and have three adult children. I have served the citizens of Wyoming County for over eleven years as a dedicated and compassionate Commissioner.

I am working with the two other Commissioners to serve the Community and by working with other leaders such as the Judge, District Attorney, Probation, both Juvenile and Adult, EMA, 911, Coroner and many others to combat Drug and Alcohol issues.

I am proud to be Chairman of the Luzerne/Wyoming County Mental Health and Disabilities. I helped to pursue and successfully recovered a part of the Opioid Settlement Money to help those still suffering to get the help they need and to continue to go after further monies. Personally helped numerous people get treatment in Wyoming County where we are making a difference.

I have worked with over 75 participants, both students and citizens in Government Leadership Programs. The Commissioners have distributed monies to many establishments that were forced to close their doors for several months during the Covid Epidemic.

This County is of the upmost importance to me with great interest in the community and I pride myself that I will help and have helped the citizens of Wyoming County to find results and answers.

I have been involved in programs at the Prison and with Employees including ABT and Inside-out Programs.

I have served or am serving on many different Boards including the Hope Coalition, Wyoming County Conservation Board; PA Farm Board; Wyoming County Historical Society; and Solid Waste Committee and Recycling Board.

I am also a member of the many organizations including: the American Legion; Tunkhannock

Lions Club; and American Cancer Society just to name a few.

I have been involved with my local business for over 30 years at Mile Hill Auto Parts, where I

served as Vice-President and served on the National Advertising Board.

I love what I do and am truly Honored to be working for Wyoming County and sincerely ask for your Support and Vote on May 16th.
