‘Equines for Freedom’ Hosts Third-Annual Sporting Clays Tournament

In conjunction with Rock Mountain Sporting Clays LLC in Springville, Susquehanna County, the non- profit organization Equines For Freedom, is hosting its third annual Sporting Clays Tournament on Friday, May 17 from 9 am to 1 pm. The tournament is open to all and will be held rain or shine. All funds raised will go directly toward helping veterans and first responders of NEPA.

This a great way to show our veterans and first responders that they are not alone with their struggle with PTSD. This program is free and completely confidential,” states Gary Johnson, Board Members, Equines for Freedom.

Considered to be one of the premier courses on the East Coast, Rock Mountain Sporting Clays is a shotgunner’s paradise.

The mission of Equines for Freedom is to provide equine-assisted PTSD treatment to current and former U. S. service members and first responders regardless of the source of trauma or their characterization of service, at no charge to the service member.

Registration is still open. For more information, go to equinesforfreedom.org or call Ryan Ruark at (570) 449-2502 or Gary Johnson at (570) 241-5281.
