Details for COVID Testing in Wyoming County Released

Free Covid-19 testing will be conducted by the Pennsylvania Department of Health from Thursday, Dec. 10 to Monday, Dec. 14 at the Wyoming County Emergency Operations Center, 3880 US-6, Tunkhannock.

Testing will be offered from 9 am to 6 pm daily – or until 450 people have been tested that day. Mid-nasal passage swab PCR tests will be performed.

Testing will be done on a first-come, first-served basis and is completely free to all patients. No appointment required. This is a drive-through operation. There is no out of pocket cost. Patients are encouraged to bring a photo ID and insurance card with you. Registration will be completed on-site. Patients must be ages three and older and not required to show symptoms of CV-19 in order to be tested. The turnaround time for testing results is two to seven days.

Note that the main entrance from US-6 will be closed. Access will only be permitted via Billings Mill Road (SR-1001) and Sunnyside Road. (Billings Mill Road is across US-6 from the D&C Gas Station, east of Shadowbrook Resort.) If you are using Google Map for navigation, be sure to use, 3880 US-6, Tunkhannock, PA 18657
