Time is running out! Only two weeks left to get your Susquehanna pictures into the Susquehanna Greenway Partnership’s (SGP) 6th Annual Photo Contest. SGP will be closing its doors on to all photo submissions on June 30 at 5 pm.

The Susquehanna Greenway photo contest is free and open to all ages and ability levels. This year’s categories include: Treasured River Towns, Treasured Landscapes, Susquehanna Adventures, and Youth Entries under age 18. Photographers can learn more and submit eligible photos at susquehannagreenway.org/photo-contest.

The Susquehanna Greenway Photo Contest is an exciting opportunity for individuals, no matter their skills level, to participate in documenting the Susquehanna, its towns, its landscapes, and its people,” said Outreach Volunteer Coordinator Corey BeVier. “The region is rich with beauty and history. We are truly looking forward to seeing the entries that we receive this year.”

First through third place winners of each category will be awarded cash prized varying from $50 to $150. Winning images will also be printed, framed, and added to a traveling gallery to be exhibited throughout the Susquehanna region within Pennsylvania.

Winners will be announced in mid-August. Follow the Susquehanna Greenway on Facebook to see the winners and to vote for People’s Choice.

The Susquehanna Greenway is a corridor of connected trails, parks, river access points, and communities, linking people to the natural and cultural treasures of the Susquehanna River and its West Branch. Over 500 miles in the length, the Greenway is one of our state’s greatest resources, conserving the environment for all living things, and creating recreational opportunities for healthy communities.
