Shawn Conklin (above, right) of Tunkhannock Township, accused of a multiple stabbing in the Rivercrest development at a family barbecue in April 2015, was delivered to Wyoming County court on Wednesday for mental competency hearing, only to be returned to prison when a psychiatrist did not show up to testify as planned. Conklin reportedly admitted to the stabbing in 2015 of his wife, Karen, a brother-in-law, Harold Christofferson, and a teenager who attempted to intervene. In February 2016, Conklin was sentenced to 30-60 years for the crime.
