The Bradford County Office of Veterans Affairs has received $10,000 of grant money through the Veterans Trust Fund, according to a release from the office of Rep. Tina Pickett (Bradford/Sullivan/Susquehanna).

I am thrilled to congratulate the Bradford County Office of Veterans Affairs on receiving this funding,” said Pickett. “The Bradford County Veterans Affairs Office goes above and beyond to ensure the veterans in our area have the resources and services they need. I am confident this funding will assist them in continuing their endeavors to provide great care and outreach for our region’s veterans.”

The Veterans Trust Fund is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and is funded by generous Pennsylvanians who voluntarily make a $3 donation when applying for or renewing their driver’s license, photo ID or a motor vehicle registration.

The fund also receives proceeds that come from the sale of the Honoring Our Veterans license plate and private donations.
