Rep. Karen Boback (Lackawanna/Luzerne/Wyoming) will be holding her annual senior expo on Friday, July 28, from 10 am to 2 pm in the Tunkhannock Area High School cafeteria.

Several new, interactive informational sessions will begin at 10:30 a.m. Offerings include a healthy eating demonstration, chair yoga, Tai Chi, social media, prescription safety, cybersecurity, legal issues and more.

Health care professionals, veterans service organizations and many state and local agencies will be on site. Heath-related screenings will be offered, and a prescription drug drop-box, provided by the Wyoming County District Attorney’s office, will be available for the secure disposal of medications.

I encourage seniors and caregivers residing in the 117th District to attend this informative and fun event,” said Boback. “This is a great opportunity to learn about the many services available in our community for senior citizens and their families.”

This is a free event. For more information, visit www.RepBoback.com or contact her district offices at 570-836-4777 or 570-675-6000.
