Weather on Aug. 7 was splendid, with breezy warmth and plenty of sunshine. Predicted thunderstorm never materialized for those living on Fairview Road in Meshoppen Township, Wyoming County. Most residents in the Endless Mountains woke the next morning to temperatures around 50 degrees before they climbed again into the 70s.
