A heavy layer of fog hung over the Susquehanna River from Mayo Beach to Black Walnut in western Wyoming County on Tuesday morning. Skies cleared, and temperatures soared into the 70s, only to be followed by a rather gloomy Wednesday with sprinkles and temps barely reaching the mid 60s.
