Weather Window: Cold Nights to Yield to Moderate Temps

Tuesday’s light snow began to melt as temperatures rose above freezing at the border of Colley and Cherry townships in Sullivan County this morning, only to be replaced a few hours later as snow squalls moved through the region.

Typical winter weather with only slight fluctuations will be the norm over the next week, with a few nights in the teens followed by moderating temperatures into next week.

The long range forecast suggests that a storm system next week will be more wet than white.

The eight-day forecast follows:

Wednesday Night’s expected low: 25

Thursday – 30/14 (cloudy)

Friday25/12 (cloudy)

Saturday28/16 (sunny)

Sunday33/30 (snow showers)

Monday – 33/20 (partly cloudy)

Tuesday35/35 (snow to rain)

Wednesday 40/25 (am rain)

Thursday25/15 (partly cloudy)
