Another wedding season will soon be upon us, and the management and staff of Shadowbrook Inn & Resort is gearing up for a Bridal Showcase and fashion show on Jan. 29 to give brides-to-be an opportunity to network with professionals in the Endless Mountains who offer wedding-related services.
The main ballroom and many other parts of the Inn have undergone extensive renovations over the past two years, and management feels the resort has more to offer than ever before.
“I would like to personally welcome all family and friends of future wedding planners to the new Shadowbrook Resort for our first Wedding Showcase in many years,” states general manager Mike Belusko (above). “Shadowbrook has planned and hosted weddings for more than 30 years. Romantic, Classic, Fun and Elegant is how we describe our receptions.”
Twenty vendors will be on hand to discuss options for weddings and receptions such as entertainment, flowers and other decorations, photography, and the all-important wedding cake. Something Blue Bridal Boutique, Shabby Shek Salon & Boutique, and Head To Toe Salon & Spa will collaborate to put on an informal bridal fashion, hair and makeup show. Models will mingle with guests throughout the program.
Admission to the Bridal Showcase, which will be held in Shadowbrook’s Grand Ballroom from 1 to 4 pm, is free. Finger foods and soft beverages will be served, and Tommy Cains of Atlantic Professional DJ Services will emcee the event.
“We are hosting this bridal event for our local people to highlight the services and products available for their weddings and receptions,” Shadowbrook sales manager Erika Edwards explains.
In addition to the aforementioned participants, committed vendors include Mary Kay, Chippy White Table, Monzie’s Floral Design, Jessica Manns Photography, Nimble Hill Winery & Brewery, Endless Mountains Media Services – Rick Hiduk, Nasser Limousine Service, Endless Mountains Event Planning, Candles & Jewelry by Crystal Weaver, Cakes by Marilynn, Raymond Phillips Sight & Sound, Mayflower Florists, Pianist Kenneth McGraw, Chelsea Brinton Photography, and Around the World Travel.
