A large crowd gathered at the Wyoming County Emergency Operations Center on Tuesday for a presentation by the partner organizations and entities that worked together to bring Tunkhannock’s first natural gas line to fruition. Excavators will start digging the trench from Sunnyside Road in Tunkhannock Township to Harrison Street in the borough on Monday. Ceremoniously getting the dig underway on Oct. 16 were (from left) PA Department of Community & Economic Development executive secretary Scott Dunkleberger, Wyoming County commissioner Tom Henry, Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce president Gina Suydam, and UGI director of business development Don Brominski.
