Plein Air Art Event Planned at I AM Center for Creative Healing

Edited from Submitted Materials

Sullivan County artist Karen Black has announced a Plein Air gathering at the scenic farm of artist Fred Strugatz, located at 1621 Sayman Road, just outside of New Albany, PA on Thursday, June 17. (A rain date, if need be, will be chosen as the event draws closer.)

The evening starts at 5 pm with a welcome from Strugatz, after which participants can settle in and start creating. Participants are asked to bring their own beverages and artistic supplies and to take with them everything that they bring.

There are restroom facilities on site, and a golf cart is available to shuttle participants to a spot from which they would like to paint. According to Black, “It’s scenic and quite beautiful. A nice 360° view.”

There is no charge for the event, but donations that will be given to Mr. Strugatz for hosting the event, are appreciated.
