Sue Stone, administrator at the Susquehanna County Library at Montrose, has announced two upcoming programs that are free to the public.
On Wednesday, October 23 at 6:30 pm, Lee Ann Stebbins (above) will present DNA Testing 101. The program will cover the types of DNA tests available, which tests are best depending on what genealogy problem you want to solve, and what the results will look like at the 4 major testing companies.
On Saturday, November 16 at 10 am, Howard Burkett will offer a program on Alexa, the Amazon Echo assistant. If you are thinking of buying one for Christmas, you might want to see first what Alexa can do.
The library is located at 458 High School Road. For more information, interested readers may call 570-278-1881.
