The board and staff members of the Endless Mountains Heritage Region (pictured in 2019) invite you to learn about ongoing programs and interests during a virtual annual meeting slated for Friday, Oct. 9.
While the Endless Mountains Heritage Region cannot hold its Annual Meeting in person this October due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, administrators and board members still want to invite all associate members and the public to join them on Oct. 9.
This year’s meeting will be held in a virtual format via Zoom from 9:30 to 11:30 am. The online event will consist of a short business meeting between board members, a year-in-review report from EMHR executive director Cain Chamberlin, and a series of presentations from this year’s EMHR Partnership/Mini-Grant recipients.
Guest speakers will include Worlds End State Park manager Bill Kocher and DCNR forest rangers Amy Sterner and Adam Geer of the Loyalsock State Forest, who will talk about the impacts COVID-19 has had on local state parks and forests in the region this summer.
Registration is free. Interested readers can find additional information under the Events tab on the Endless Mountains Heritage Region Facebook page.
