The annual Fancy Fair of the Oldest House in Laceyville will be held on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14 and 15 at the Laceyville Goodwill Fire Company on Main Street. Oldest House volunteers invite the public to shop, linger over lunch or coffee and catch up with old friends. From 9 am to 5 pm each day, patrons will find quality glassware, textile arts and holiday decorations for sale.

The board of the Oldest House has been working tirelessly over the past three years to acquire funds for much-needed structural repairs, which are currently focused on the foundation itself.

A grant from the Endless Mountains Heritage Region, in addition to money raised through membership drives, donations and activities at the House such as the annual Christmas Tea and previous Fancy Fairs will go toward the project.

Oldest House members are excited to have high school students, Bryanna Share and Teya Short, helping with set up and sales this year. The girls are accumulating hours toward their senior project.
