County Fair Season Returns to the Endless Mountains

In the Endless Mountains, our county fairs are preparing for a summer full of family fun. These annual events celebrate the region’s rich agricultural heritage and showcase the hard work of our local farmers. Not to mention, there’s no shortage of delicious food, fun rides, and live entertainment for all ages.

Fair season kicks off with the 147th Troy Fair (above) from July 24 – 29. This year’s main act is the chart-topping country star Chris Janson, who will perform on July 26. Other grandstand shows will include tractor pulls, Bullride Mania, and demo derbies. Free shows and other fun events will be held daily.

From August 14 – 19, the 165th Annual Harford Fair (above) comes to Susquehanna County. Country singer-songwriter Priscilla Block will perform at the main arena on August 17. The fair also features a classic car cruise-in, truck pulls, tractor pulls, a woodman’s contest, Bullride Mania Rodeo, and the Havoc at Harford demolition derby.

The fun continues at the 171st Annual Sullivan County Fair (above) from August 30 through September 3. Located in scenic Forksville, the fair features live music, local vendors, incredible food, and thrilling rides for the entire family. Grandstand entertainment includes tractor and truck pulls, horse pulls, a home talent night, a demo derby, and more.

The Wyoming County Fair in Meshoppen will wrap up the season from August 30 through September 4. The headlining show will be country star Warren Zeiders with special guest Nate Hosie on September 2. Don’t miss attractions like the daily shows, a pop-up farmers market, the Bands & Beers concert, and so much more.
