Coterra to Cover Cost of Lunch for ‘Farm and Home Day’

Attendees of Susquehanna County Farm & Home Day enjoy lunch in the Elk Lake High School cafeteria in 2022.

Coterra Energy is looking forward to gathering with land owners, industry partners, and other friends at the 33nd annual Susquehanna County Farm and Home Day, which will be held on Monday, April 10 at Elk Lake High School. Guests and vendors of the event, previously known as Ag Day, are invited to a free lunch, sponsored by Coterra.
“Lunchtime has become one of the most popular activities at Farm and Home Day,” said Coterra external affairs manager Bill desRosiers. “Not only do people look forward to catching up with their neighbors over a good meal, you always find yourself talking to someone new. Coterra is glad to be part of that experience.”

The Farm and Home Show began as Dairy Day. The event is coordinated by the Penn State Extension and provides opportunities for consumers to meet with vendors of ag-related products, talk to representatives from health-focused agencies, sit in on classes with Penn State educators, and win some prizes via activities conducted by youth-oriented organizations like Susquehanna County 4-H and the Susquehanna County Dairy Promotion Court.

Farm and Home Day is a much-anticipated event that addresses more aspects of rural living every year,” desRosiers stated. “We are always impressed by the variety of participants and very appreciative of the Penn State Extension for the hard work they put into it.”

Lunch will be served in the school cafeteria from 11 am to 1 pm and will consist of ham, macaroni and cheese, tossed salad, roll, dessert and beverage. Though the meal is free, registration is required to give the cafeteria staff a solid head count. Interested readers need to register by Monday, April 3, by calling 877-345-0691 or log on to https://extension.psu.edu/susquehanna-county-farm-and-home-day.
