Classical Jazz Concert Planned in Eagles Mere

Eagles Mere Friends of the Arts will present Kammermusik Main Line on Saturday,
July 8 at 8 pm at the David DeWire Center in Eagles Mere. The performers will be violinist
Diane Monroe, vibraphonist Tony Miceli, and cellist Deborah Reeder. The program will be a mix of classical and jazz styles.
Violinist Diane Monroe was classically trained at Curtis and is well-known for moving
easily between classical and jazz styles as both a violinist and leader. Vibraphonist
Tony Miceli is well-known in Scranton and Philadelphia jazz circles in addition to being
on the faculties of Temple University and University of the Arts. Tony and Diane (above) can be
heard on their CD “Alone Together,” which will be available at the concert.

Cellist Deborah Reeder (above) of The Philadelphia Trio and Music in the Mountains Chamber
Music Workshop founded Kammermusik Main Line in 2012 for the purpose of presenting
unusual chamber music repertoire for flexible instrumentation.
Tickets ($25) will be available at the door. The DeWire Center is located at Laporte and
