Bradford County, along with financial help from PACD and DEP, will be holding an informative meeting on Friday, April 1, from 9 am to 3 pm. The meeting topics will be Cover Crops- what really works in NEPA, No-Till Advantages not talked about a lot, Innovative Pasture Management from a local producer, Cheap and Easy Fixes to ACAs, some forest management topics, and funding opportunities that currently exist to help with these projects.
Bradford County Conservation District officials hope not only to inform local producers about exciting things that they have been doing, but also to hear from local producers that are doing new and innovative things that could potentially be done on other farm. There will be some really good information at this meeting for those who pasture animals or grow cover crops.
The meeting will be held at the Wysox Fire Hall, 111 Lake Road, Towanda Pa 18848. Lunch will be provided for all registered by Tuesday, March 29. Nutrient Management Continuing Education Credits have been applied for and should be received.
