The Bradford County Regional Arts Council (BCRAC) is pleased with the success of the first half of the 2014-15 Nightlife on the Susquehanna performance series and excited about the remaining acts on the schedule that extend into April.

Wise Crackers Comedy Act played to a sold-out crowd at the Keystone on Jan. 16, and BCRAC board members are hoping for similar response to Marc Berger and Ride, who will bring their roots country-tinged folk music to the Keystone on Saturday, Feb. 14.

The Whiskey Tango Sideshow (below) is geared toward mature audiences (18+) and will present a traditional cabaret-style burlesque show to the Keystone on Saturday, March 21.

Classically-trained rockers Cello Fury will bring their nationally-recognized, high-energy show to the Sayre Theatre on Friday, April 10.

In Canton, the Thursdays at the Rialto series will resume on March 26 with a performance by Kilrush, a Celtic/Irish rock band. Joe Valarro’s Dixieland Jazz Band (below) will play at the Realto on Thursday, April 30.

The adult-oriented humor of three stand-up comedians from Wise Crackers Comedy Acts was a big hit with theater goers at Towanda. Performers included Scott Bruce (below, left), John Knight, and Mike Stankiewicz (below, right), each hailing from different regions of Pennsylvania.

Audience members closest to the stage were often the target of the sharp-tongued professionals, who included theater patrons in their routines. Meanwhile, in the balcony, approximately 40 ticket-holders were guests of program sponsor Henry Dunn, Inc., which provided food and beverages at private parties before and after the show.

Additional series sponsors include Pembrook Pines Media Group and Red Door Photography.
