Planning and fundraising for the 2023 Susquehanna Summer Solstice Festival (SSSF) is underway. The event will offer plein air painting, music and environmental in a festival setting at the beautiful and historic French Azilum site and in nearby towns in Bradford County.
The SSSF committee has received a generous donation from well-known artist, Brian Keeler (above), for a winner’s choice of one of seven paintings from his extensive Wyalusing studio collection. An online auction, currently underway, will end on Saturday, Nov. 5.
According to Elaine Poost, executive director of the Bradford County Regional Arts Council. “The auction offers a great way to acquire a beautiful piece of art below market value and support a wonderful regional arts festival in Bradford county.” Paintings can be previewed and a bid entered at this link: www.32auctions.com/SSSF2023.
