Boback to Host ‘Opioid Dangers’ Forum at Tunkhannock High

Rep. Karen Boback (Lackawanna/Luzerne/Wyoming) has organized a drug forum to be led by professionals and local experts to educate local communities on the opioid epidemic devastating families, neighborhoods, our Commonwealth and our country.

The event will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the Tunkhannock Area High School Auditorium from 6 to 7:30 pm.

I encourage our community to attend these panel discussions,” said Boback. “On average we lose 13 Pennsylvanians a day to drug overdoses. My hope is that forums such as these will help make a difference.”

These panel discussions are open to the public and are held in conjunction with the respective school districts.

For more information, contact Boback’s Tunkhannock district office at (570) 836-4777.
