The Wyoming County Courthouse Art Gallery and the Kitson Arts Alliance have banded together to bring back a popular, long-standing Tunkhannock tradition – the annual community concert at the Courthouse gazebo (top). This year’s featured artist is Zingology (above).
Jazz & Art at the Courthouse will take place from 4 to 7 pm on Friday, Aug. 18. It will include an art show inside the Wyoming County Courthouse Art Gallery, featuring a variety of local artists, and live jazz music in the gazebo, featuring the swing/jazz stylings of native son Brian Keeler’s vintage swing combo, Zingology.
Admission is free. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. The event will be held rain or shine. Snacks ill be available.
Jazz & Art at the Courthouse is presented by the Wyoming County Courthouse and the Kitson Arts Alliance and is made possible by event sponsors such as the Comfort Inn & Suites Tunkhannock.
All proceeds go to cover expenses incurred and to support the programs of the Wyoming County Courthouse Art Gallery and the Kitson Arts Alliance for the community.
