Veterans Park Association Seeks Information

Bradford County Veterans Memorial Park Association (BCVMPA) reached out to you today with a serious request for important information.
We are in the process of putting together lists of Bradford County military veterans who are recipients of the Medal of Honor, were Prisoners of War, were awarded the Purple Heart, those loved ones who are still listed as Missing in Action and any family member who suffered the supreme sacrifice; Killed in Action.
We truly want to honor all of our veterans and those who fall into the categories above will be honored for their service in granite, by name and in place for evermore. BCVMPA is honored to do this for them at no charge. Please mail documentation to BCVMPA – PO Box 206 – Towanda PA 18848. For further information, please call 570-596-3224.
As most of you know, stages I and II of the Veterans Memorial Park have been completed. Stage III of the project will start in spring 2014. We are preparing to install the granite paver bricks, one-by-one-foot markers, honorarium benches and some of the larger monuments. These installations will make up a major part of this park specifically dedicated to honor our veterans. For those who have already taken part in the granite paver program, rest assured, our database is up to date and the names of your loved ones will be engraved and reverently placed.

The granite paver program at $75 has not ended yet but will soon close. A paver ordered after the others have been installed will cost $100 so order now to avoid this necessary increase. You can download a form at or call the above number and we will mail one to you.

Christmas Blessings and Holiday Greetings to all the great citizens of our county. May this joyous season find you healthy, at peace, prosperous, with family and friends all around. To our friends, fellow citizens, Veterans and families of veterans, “thank you for your service and May God Bless you one and all.”

The website - a meager investment with no immediate return - is meant to be community-based and to reflect the varied tastes of its readers. Submissions from legitimate organizations and event coordinators are welcome and will be published as space and time allow. This website is operated by Endless Mountains Media Services. I am seeking submissions of news stories, promotional press releases, and photos for posting with full recognition for the submitter. I am also hoping to build a base of correspondents who would enjoy being my "ears and eyes" in parts of the four county region where news is happening.
