Winter, Winter. Go Away!

Snow fell softly on Main Street in Laceyville mid afternoon on Wednesday. Heavier squalls also moved through the area but left little accumulation in the river towns of Bradford and Wyoming counties.

Some sort of storm – possibly another nor’easter – looks likely for early next week, maybe even on the first day of spring. In the meantime, it will simply be blustery and cold – more like January than March. Sunday and Monday are looking like the brightest days ahead.

The eight day forecast follows:

Wednesday evening: flurries low 22

Thursday: snow showers 35/22

Friday: cloudy27/17

Saturday: mostly cloudy – 36/13

Sunday: sunny39/15

Monday: partly sunny39/25

Tuesday: snow showers32/23

Wednesday: cloudy35/18

Thursday: flurries 35/22
