Little Snow, No More Ice, But No Signs of Spring Either

It still felt like winter in Towanda on Thursday afternoon, even though the Bradford County seat has been spared the worst of the last two coastal storms. Temperatures are expected to remain seasonable cool over the next week, with occasional snow showers and frosty evenings. Don’t expect to see much of the sun either.

The eight day forecast follows:

Thursday evening: flurries low 23

Friday: cloudy39/23

Saturday: mostly cloudy – 35/22

Sunday: cloudy37/33

Monday: snow showers35/22

Tuesday: snow showers33/17

Wednesday: cloudy32/20

The weather report is based on expected conditions at approximately 1,100 ft elevation in Meshoppen Township, Wyoming County, near the center of the Endless Mountains region. Residents of river towns can generally expect slightly higher temperatures, while those at higher elevations may experience lower temperatures.
