Santa to Distribute Coloring Book in Dushore

Youngsters lining the parade route during the Christmas in Dushore celebration on Saturday, Dec. 9 should look for Santa, as he will have a special treat for them.

The new coloring book “Welcome to Dushore,” which features panels that highlight the Sullivan County borough’s businesses and annual events, is hot off the presses.

Production of the book was funded by the Pennsylvania Partners of the Arts and members of the Dushore Business Association and drawn by local artist Karen Black.

The parade starts at 6 pm, and Santa will be handing out free coloring books and crayons. Black will be in attendance to autograph the books for those who are interested. Additional books are also available for purchase and make great stocking-stuffers of special local interest.
