The Laceyville Business Association got a jump start on holiday decorating on Saturday as they festooned the borough’s street posts on their own.

Normally, we pay someone to do them,” said Dawn Bluhm, representing the Table Rock Hotel. “But we are on a mission to build the community up and try to get others involved, so we took to the streets with ribbon and lights.”

Members of the Association is preparing for their Christmas Bazaar, set for Saturday, Dec. 9.
