Public officials and representatives of the Susquehanna Greenway Partnership and Endless Mountains Heritage Region will gather at George R. Hock Memorial Park in Falls at 1 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 15 to officially designate the village as a PA River Town.
The celebration is several years in the making, taking a giant step forward this past summer when the community hosted its first official river festival. The designation will help Falls leverage additional state funding to enhance its river access and recreational opportunities.
