Air Ambulance Lands at Meshoppen Ball Field for Transport

Members of the Meshoppen Fire Company were involved with the arrival of a Commonwealth Health air ambulance at about 7 pm this evening, attracting a fair number of spectators (above). The helicopter landed in the borough’s ball field once, and crew members on board removed a stretch that was moved to a pair of vehicles waiting near the pavilion. The helicopter took off, circled town and landed again a few minutes later, at which time four firefighters pushed the gurney to the rear of the aircraft (top) that was loaded quickly before the helicopter departed, traveling east.
