The 12th annual Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce “Taste Full” event will be held at the Sullivan County Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 22 from 11 am to 4 pm.
This year, the Infinity Band will treat you to a day filled with rhythm and upbeat songs. The six-piece, professional band plays rock’n’roll cover music from the ’80s to the present day. All are talented, experienced, high energy musicians who enjoy what they do and thrive on entertaining the crowd. They love interacting with the audience and getting them to join the party.
Infinity loves rock and pop and have a music selection that goes from classic Boston and Benatar to current artists such as Bruno Mars, Pink, Meghan Trainer, and The Band Perry. Included in their wide selection of music are some disco and country songs.
Infinity has a powerful light and sound system run by a dedicated engineer. Guitar leads and keyboard solos are blended into the full body of music that a six-piece band delivers. This all adds up to a special experience of music and performance.
Members making up this great band of sound are Chris Oremus, lead vocals/guitar; Marie Zionkowski, lead vocals/keyboards; Thom Kotch, lead guitar/vocals; Ron Reeves, bass guitar/vocals; Wayne Gozikowski, keyboards; and Jim Hudak, drums/vocals.
Upon entry of the Taste Full Village, you will receive a glass for tasting the many varieties of wine beer, and cider. Enjoy tasty foods like chicken cordon bleu, pulled pork, cheesesteaks (with all the trimmings), cheeseburgers french fries, and more. There will be variety vendors for browsing or buying something special and for the first time a fun photo booth.
Picturesque horse and carriage rides will take you around the quaint cozy fairgrounds in Forksville. The nearby Loyalsock Creek and Forksville covered bridge, are scenic delights – this is what makes this event unique.
The Chamber recognized the opportunity to promote the entrepreneurs of wineries in the area and to add a needed fund raising event. The attendance is often 1,000 or more.
