Weather Window: Cold Snap to Be Short-Lived

The winds of change barreled down the Susquehanna River valley past French Azilum in Bradford County this afternoon. From highs Tuesday and Wednesday in the 60s, temperatures will drop to single digits by Saturday Night.

Growers are getting a reprieve as Mother Nature rescinds her Spring tease and lets Old Man Winter take another jab at us.

As temperatures plummet on north winds, expect flurries from time to time into the weekend. Don’t put your light jackets away yet, though. Spring will make another attempt to gain our favor next week.

The eight-day forecast follows:

Thursday Night’s expected low: 29

Friday – 30/13 (cloudy)

Saturday – 20/7 (am clouds)

Sunday – 38/25 (some sun)

Monday – 50/40 (cloudy)

Tuesday – 56/40 (showers)

Wednesday – 50/31 (breezy)

Thursday – 44/30 (partly cloudy)

Friday – 45/32 (cloudy)
