Weather Window: River Ice Will Make a Comeback

The Susquehanna River at Towanda was void of ice after last week’s rain and mild temperatures, but sub-freezing will set in over the next four days.

Major roadways in Bradford County were pretreated today in advance of some snow showers expected this evening.

No additional precipitation is expected through the weekend, but temperatures are expected to remain below freezing until at least Tuesday, when some more light snow is expected.

The eight-day forecast follows:

Monday – 26/20 (cloudy)

Tuesday33/30 (late snow)

Wednesday 40/30 (showers)
